What is 'night mode'?

Clicking 'night mode' alters the way that the computer 'sees' the different coloured bands on the instrument tips. It makes it easier for the software to reliably detect the two colours when using artificial light.

If using artificial light and the small 'cross hairs' on the instrument tips are flickering, or the calibration process didn't turn all the circles green, then improve the light inside the eoSim as much as possible, select 'night mode' and try again.

Paradoxically, sometimes in very bright natural light, 'night mode' can be useful too.
